One would not know that Amy Klobuchar is a Democrat or Progressive. Sadly, she has demonized Democratic Progressives just as hard as any Right-Wing Tea Party Republican with charming Midwestern style.
Is Amy Klobuchar channeling Republicans?
Progressives do not want to laden Americans with free stuff. We want to enlighten them about our economic fraud and empower them to be equal participants as we create a real meritocracy as opposed to one where you must be chosen for entry if even cloaked in the false nonexistent freedom to succeed without haven been chosen.
The “FREE” phrase simply flows too easily from Klobuchar’s tongue. Empathy should have dictated a better understanding of why the policies articulated by Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are not only necessary but imperative.
Amy Klobuchar has staked her position. Unless she makes one hundred eighty degree turn, it is hard to see her getting any traction in the Democratic primary. She needs to go back to her state and fraternize with real people in stressed and not-so-stressed neighborhoods.
She made a statement in that same interview with Chris Matthews that bears mention. She said that there is an oversupply of MBAs and CEOs and that more need to go to school to become plumbers. She did not see both the condescension in the manner in which she expressed that statement, Most importantly, the statement proves there is an entitled class for supply and demand does not work. How else can an oversupply of CEOs and MBAs justify their ever-increasing salaries?
